A recent Church Council recognised the desirability of a church logo as we seek to coordinate our publicity and publications on paper, on the big screen and on the web.  Following publicity on this website and in Spotlight, our monthly newsletter, the logo submitted by Paul has not been opposed and has gained acceptance through it's use on this website, on weekly notices and on various notices around the church.



The sheep are taken from our chancel window and represent our position on Sheep St, but more importantly our position as followers of the Good Shepherd in His way.  The Orb and Cross is the symbol of the Methodist Church in Britain.  John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church, spoke of the world as his parish.
